What is futurology and why visit Future Tense conference?

Futurology is a scientific discipline that studies the future of humanity. It explores and predicts the possibilities of technological and social development. Futurologists predict the future that arises from the complexity of modern societies, and their main subjects are the growth of the economy, technological advancement, and fast social changes with their impact on humanity and nature.

Story behind the bot

The visual identity of the conference is a generative animated logo – bot.

The bot’s design in unpredictable, it is created in real time, and depends on communication on Twitter related to the topics of the conference. The bot is generated out of two points representing humanoid eyes. The changes in its appearance represent a mental process of creating a vision; contemplating as well as discarding ideas about the future and a constant active search of the right questions and answers.
